Where to Find and View Independent Films and Indie Movies

Where to Locate and See Indie Films

It's pretty simple, these days, to find a movie to see.... if it's a major movie company release. The ads are all over the TV channels and the newspapers. You can walk into any major movie theater franchise or video rental store and take your pick.

But if you're looking for a really wonderful indie film to buy, watch or rent, it's an entirely different matter.

Attending indie film festivals is of course an excellent way to be introduced to a wide variety of new indie films in a short period of time.

If you're lucky enough to live in a town big enough to support an art theater, you'll be able to see THEIR choice of films, which represents only a tiny fraction of the indie films that are made each year.

But what about the rest of them.

Some you'll be able to find on the several cable tv channels that feature indie movies.

A few you'll be able to rent from Netflix.

Some you'll be able to find and download online.

Here are some suggestions on how to locate and iew the rest.
